How to Fix Instagram Login Issues in IGdm Pro
If you are having trouble logging in or connecting an Instagram account in IGdm Pro, the first thing to check is your app version. A recent login issue was fixed in version 5.1.0. Older versions do not include that fix.
Update to version 5.1.0 or later
If you are running a version below 5.1.0, update IGdm Pro before trying to log in again.
- Check which version you are currently running (see below).
- If it is lower than 5.1.0, update the app.
- Quit and reopen IGdm Pro, then try connecting your Instagram account again.
For step-by-step update instructions (automatic and manual), see How to Update IGdm Pro.
Check which version you are running
macOS
- Open IGdm Pro.
- In the menu bar, click IGdm Pro (next to the Apple menu).
- Select About IGdm Pro.
- Confirm the version is 5.1.0 or later.
Windows
- Open Settings → Apps → Installed apps (or Apps & features on older Windows versions).
- Search for IGdm-Pro or IGdm Pro.
- Confirm the version listed next to the app is 5.1.0 or later.
Linux
- If you use the AppImage, check the filename (for example, IGdm-Pro-5.1.0.AppImage).
- After updating, quit and reopen the app so the new version is loaded.
